Sitcom Furniture's design process ranges from inventing completely new products- such as their space-saving "computer capsule" and mail organizers - to adapting existing styles for contemporary settings. By distilling a piece down to its essential elements and eliminating decorative frills, they're able to maintain the essence of a classic style or period, while expanding its compatibility with other furniture and settings.

Comments:
[...] about the collection itself, some pieces are extremely great, including the bed, bench, mirror, armoire, nightstands, console table, and tall dresser. In particular, the scale is charming -- I live in the midwest, where the furniture generally is clunky and oversized, and the 1980s rage on. The dining table and chairs have a beautiful color and design, though the bowl inset is no longer available on the table leaf, which is a shame. The plant stands were fair, browner than the rest of the collection, with poorly fitting metal hardware. The dresser here was flawed by uneven planks on top but otherwise looks great. Unfortunately, though the collection is described as hard wood, some pieces have a density closer to mid grade, scratching and denting easier than one would expect (the aforementioned table leaf looks like it's taken a beating). The finish would be more protective if sealed. [...] The quality is about what you might find at [...](and even some of the higher end furniture stores nowadays), but the designs are significantly superior; if you're willing to baby the furniture, you will probably enjoy the collection, which at one time was also available at one of the upscale warehouse clubs.
