I have small place. Since I've been updating my kitchen, I decided that anything new I brought in must be multifunctional. I like the idea of coats being hung up. I also have a place for a bags coming and going. By adding storage bins to the lower shelf, I am able to put seasonal stuff (scarfs, mittens, sunscreen) in their own place. It was easy to put together which is a plus for me.

We have had many compliments about it. We like the fact we can hang visitor's coats and hats on it, but people are able to sit on the seat and put their shoes on instead of trying to balance or sitting on the floor.[...]

Fits well in a very small, tight entrance. Very convenient, to hang coat, hat, put shoes and slippers under. Decent price.

We just moved east and are renting a house for 9 months while we build one. Discovered quickly that we need someplace to hang wet coats and store wet boots until dry enough to put away. Only possible place to do that was just inside front door, which meant we needed it to be attractive. But we needed it to be inexpensive as well, since we may not need it in the new house at all. This piece is an outstanding value and met all of our requirements and more. The bench is comfortable and very handy for taking shoes off and on, as well as keeping boots and shoes orderly and out of sight. The top shelf provides storage for hats and the purses I was always leaving on the kitchen counter (which is just to the right of the front door). Sturdy, attractive, affordable--couldn't be happier.

We love it that is my wife and I, we live in the country and mostly use the back door, as you walk in the breakfast/ kitchen area it sits right against a wall its the first thing you see when you walk in. Its great when you walk in with hands full, you can quickly hang your purse keys hat or other items and have a seat to remove shoes if they are still a little muddy and place them underneath the seat, its great it helps you keep things organized and then later find them, its also high enough that grandbaby cannot reach things like keys and etc. It also makes a great time out chair. We could not be more happy with the purchase. It is well built too not rickety.

This is perfect right by my front door for guests to leave their coats. With the basket on the bottom its great for hiding shoes etc. Love this piece it was exactly what I expected.
