While probably not the best fireplace screen for safety; it is certainly very attractive and is a perfect decoration for our new home--- blocking an ugly fireplace opening that is gas heated (not wood). This is a decoration for our home and is excellent with it's colors and designs. It is exactly what we were looking for.

Simple yet elegant. Good protection from fire. Door handles stay cool while fire is burning. Built only to open one door at a time. If you open both, it will fall over. To clean fireplace, move screen away.
