This dining set, although a lighter wood than was pictured on the site, has worked out perfect for our second kitchen. The kitchen was damaged by water and I had used my Mom's little set that she had . Since her passing it meant so much to me. This set was the exact same design as hers except it was a lighter shade wood. When I opened it I was so pleased as it was heavier and made better. Since my new cabinets arrived in a much lighter wood than I expected, the match is just perfect.
